Social media bombards with the perfect lives, jobs, homes and children and all we do is fall short and end up wondering what really is the point as nothing you do will change so why bother.
Or we get so much overwhelm trying to grow tomatoes, make out own bread and have a home for everything!
Then one day I was having a particularly awful week, I kept going into rooms and not knowing why, I snapped at everyone in the house, even the dog pissed me off. I felt fat, ugly and completely miserable.

I had had a weird backache and stomach ache for a few days and after a frenzied googling session where I became convinced I had either liver failure or pancreatic cancer I booked a dr app.
By a stoke of luck they could only do a bank holiday Monday and I ended up at an out or hours appointment that was not at my usual drs.

That amazing Dr listened to me wail on and ended up prescribing me HRT.
That gave me the little push I needed to start taking control of my health and that in turn caused a chain reaction that made me change my diet, learn how to hack my hormones and think about what I really wanted out of life.
